The auspicious Ganesh Puja was celebrated for the first time at Almora Ashrama on the sacred occasion of Ganesh Chaturdashi, with Special Puja and Homa performed in the Ashrama Temple on Monday, 14th September 2026. The celebration marked a special occasion in the spiritual life of the Ashrama and was attended by around 100 devotees, who participated in the worship and partook of the noon Prasada.
The day began with Mangal Arati at 6:00 AM, and the festivities continued throughout the day until 9:00 PM. The programme included Vedic Chanting, Puja and Bhajans, Homa, Bhogarati and Pushpanjali, followed by the noon Prasada. In the evening, devotees gathered for Sandhya Arati and Bhajans.
