WINTER RELIEF
Almora being a hill station, the minimum temperature in peak winter sees sub-zero. Ramakrishna Kutir arranges relief camps prior to winter every year in the villages in and around Almora district to distribute blankets and garments to under-privileged people.
RAIN RELIEF
Another odd to the habitants of Almora region are massive landslides during monsoons. This causes severe damage to the residential houses every year. In 2022-23, Ramakrishna Kutir provided construction materials to 20 such affected families for the rehabilitation of their houses.
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are provided to needy students studying in schools and colleges to meet their academic expenses, i.e. fees, books, stationery etc.
WELFARE
Food grains & other essential edibles are distributed among the under-privileged every year irrespective of caste, creed, or religion. During lockdown owing to COVID-19 outbreak, Ramakrishna Kutir arranged to donate adequate cereal and groceries to many families.
Financial support is also provided throughout the year in the form of educational aid, medical aid and pecuniary aid to needy people, who approach us.
