The 162nd Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated at Ramakrishna Kutir on Friday, 2nd February, 2024. The day started with Mangal Arati at 6:30 AM followed by Puja at 8:00 AM, Homa at 10:00 AM and Bhogarati & Pushpanjali at 11:30 AM. Bhajans were sung by Swami Harishwarananada. Around 130 devotees, students & workers were fed the noon prasad. The students & staff of Govt. Institute of Hotel Management also attended the Puja.
A Documentary titled Swami Vivekananda's visits to Kumaon (स्वामी विवेकानन्द की कुमाओं की यात्राएँ) was released on the official Youtube channel - Almora Ramakrishna Kutir in both English & Hindi languages.
